The "great businesses man" shut down by the human rights commission is probably a reference to the C-16 lie popularized by Jordan Peterson (where he claimed the law meant people would be jailed for not using trans peoples' preferred pronouns). That is isn't true doesn't prevent Canadian Conservatives from continuing to use it as a bogeyman.
