Book Club Bonus Chapters #4 - Page 9 (Pencils and Inks)
Added 2024-05-26 13:59:01 +0000 UTCIf you take a look at the sketch version of this page, you'll notice that I didn't do full pencils for the new panels like I normally do. Since it was only two panels and I knew I was reusing the bulk of this page from the main Book Club title, I went for a simpler sketch style and just inked directly after that.
I originally included this scene in The Book Club because I knew Lorraine and Misumi shared a love of kinky toys, so it made sense for them to find a way to discover their shared interest.
I like to have intersection points between the main title and the Bonus Chapters to help ground the reader a bit, since these stories are snippets that are sort of pulled out of the normal book and expanded upon. This shopping trip seemed like a good intersection point.
