2022-03-16 02:44:52 +0000 UTCThe exploding kids thing is from a short film PSA called "No Pressure" made by the 10:10 project (whose goal was to reduce individual carbon usage by at least 10% before 2014). There are a couple more segments with similar themes in the complete film. The idea behind its extreme approach was that the "no pressure" way of framing the necessity of action on climate change wasn't cutting it as humanity kept charging full speed towards irrevocable climate alteration, so they fantasized about a more direct way to demonstrate the consequences of inaction.
