What made it anti Semitic was that he couldn’t bother to try and pronounce it right. It was his ignorance. Foreigners wouldn’t sound racist pronouncing it that way.

I must be cautious in America, cuz that's exactly how we pronounce it in my country, same as in most other parts of the world. Including Israel itself as far as I know, though it's more like Ish-rah-el.
