I would say all of the main 4 MILFs are the "main characters" of the comic, but Patty's story is the primary meta-plot. Her journey of self discovery is the "main plot" of the overall series.

Nicole has just put her marriage out of its misery, so that opens up some new possibilities. Finding out about “Livvy” was a big surprise for us all, and there are all sorts of questions from that. Where are her brothers? Do they have kids? Imagine Victoria finding a whole generation of Dickerson girls as busty as her mother!

I think her exploring her sexuality has become a primary story arc, which makes sense as the others seem much more sure of themselves. Character-wise, her hesitancy & doubts make for a more interesting, varied plot, so it makes storytelling sense.
