2023-04-09 18:31:37 +0000 UTCEach pic was done using a different brush for shading. Normally I do a multiply layer over the base colors. For these I tried a different technique that using a monochromatic/grayscale shading style (as seen in the final pic) and then put the colors on top using an Overlay layer instead.

2023-04-09 14:46:02 +0000 UTCI used a rougher inking brush than normal. Part of my experimentation. Somewhere between my normal sketch and inks level of finish, I'd say. It's technically inks and colors, but the inking came right after a very rough sketch, the way I would do stream sketches. But then the coloring is full coloring, probably more detail than I normally do, but it's a bit hard to translate since it's a different coloring style all together.
