Bannock's Guide to Monsters of Mejina
Corrupt - Logunn, Despair
Okay, I know, I KNOW I just explained these things are Vasen. But Bannock! How are they Logunn?! It doesn't make sense!
Logunn are just weird, okay? They already don't take sick from the Monument, not fast anyway. So it stands to reason, that they don't take sick from whatever Corrupt juice the Corrupts use either. You can still even talk to these guys, it's wild. Like, they'll still turn you if they nick ya, but they won't do it ON PURPOSE. And they won't try to kill you either.
Stahl's Notes: I'm not even sure how they ended up in the Guide. But since other corrupts show up here, it makes sense.
However, unlike other corrupts, these creatures are fundamentally not that far off from their original Logunn counterparts. As such, this feels like some sort of racism at work.
Still, these are technically NOT Logunn anymore. They have A culture, simple as it may be, and on the average these creatures are weepy, much like the other forms of "Corrupts," they tend toward being so in touch with that primary emotion that they never stop feeling that way.
I don't like them. It's depressing to be around them. But I wouldn't call them monsters. They are in this book purely for completion's sake.
