As much as I love this show, for me it was really dumb seeing Doakes leaving the blood slides in his car, going to another country for a blood slide analysis ( as if the US didn t have a discreet lab), thus giving more red flags about him, besides leaving abruptly the interview with Lundy last episode. Then he talks to LaGuerta over the phone and all he needs to say is " Dexter is the Butcher' and he doesn't; anyone who tries to defend itself will name the real killer; that does not hold in a courtroom, of course, but will alert your friend, who also work for the police, about what is really going on. And I love season 2, is one of my favourites of the whole show, but this left my head scratching. Oh, and I read it somewhere that Rita started looking as taking care of herself more as the seasons go by, like wearing more makeup and other things, a sort of progression of her character from the victim of abuse in the first season, to a more confident woman...and so on.
