Bastona the Picky Sellsword - Era of Providence

Dear Craftworldians,

I am happy to share with you a painted version of Bastona the Picky Sellsword. My newest bust, the second one I sculped for Craftworld Studio Art Line - Era of Providence.

At the beginning of this month, we shared with you unpainted Bastona bust. Today, I present boxart I done on my sculpt with a character introduction. Of course, with this post we are sharing STL file of Bastona for our Patrons, and this file will be available for download until end of this month June, 2023.

Here's introduction story I wrote for Bastona the Picky Sellsword:

Name's Bastona, sword for hire. If you are looking for one, I’m strong and capable. Money upfront and no refunds. It doesn’t matter if there is no violence, actually I prefer it  that way. But if it comes to blows I’m up for it. You see, you have to be careful in my line of work, everyone wants to screw you or kill you. Sometimes both to be completely honest. So yes, the deal is the deal. Interested? Good!

You know I used to be a farmer, if you can picture that. Cattle, fields, and all. I know it’s hard to believe. It became difficult to keep up with everything else going around. I got raided by bandits one year and by the deserters the next one. So  I decided to pick up my old father's broadsword.  Yes, the very one I still use.  It seems quite a deadly bastard. Anyhow, the next time the scum came to my farm I was ready.  In short, it was bloody and I got my first scars here you see.  It turned out I enjoyed the whole process, more than farming anyway. Since then I became a sellsword.  Money is good and there are a lot of customers with all the conflicts going on.

Before we start there are a couple of things to keep in mind. How many days will this journey last? A week at best? Oh that’s longer than expected.  Well, the rates will go up in this case, hope you will understand. Food, and accommodations be provided as expected? If we are staying at an Inn I would expect a room with a window and a real bed, a flea free bed mind you. When it comes to drinks I’m fine with pretty much any red vine that is made south of High Belton, nothing younger than three years of course.

What do you mean "What’s your benefit from all of this?" I’m guarding your life! In every situation that is life threatening to your person I’m ready to act in accordance with previously established rules and circumstances. To that note I have to add upfront that if by any chance you got pickpocketed, it is only your carelessness that you need to blame, not me.

Oh and one last thing - no dealings with any arcane arts practitioners!

The first bust I sculpted and shared with you guys was, Trisht the Steadfast. The STL for Trisht is not longer available at Patreon, but it is at our Patreon Shop:  We will announce when it is ready. Also, Trisht's painting video tutorial is coming this week. :)

Bastona bust we printed was done using Phrozen Sonic Mini 8k, and Aqua 8k resin.

This are the setting we use for resin printers. (With this setting we printed Trisht & Bastona busts):

Ps. Hollowed version comes with the supports, can can be removed in CHITUBOX. If someone is having a trouble, let us know.
