Maggie definitely has some bad memories with Sewers lol, last couple times she was looking for Glenn with Aaron when Glenn was stuck under the dumpster after she found out she was Pregnant with Hershel. Then she heard about Carl guiding everyone to those same sewers for sanctuary after he was bitten and saving the people of Alexandria before slowly fading away & taking himself out. And then the next time we saw her down in the sewers was the end of S11 when they were sneaking back into the commonwealth courthouse around when Judith got shot which certainly reminded her of both times Carl was shot both when they first met Maggie on the farm & later when he lost his eye.
