We see Bernard's perspective as this single timeline, but it's always flitting back and forth (because his memories are de-addressed). I think you'll really enjoy it on a second watch, and I would be interested in perhaps a 'redux reaction' or review some time in the future if you revisit the show. I would like to see S03, and I would say that it is easier to follow along and provide commentary on. But I totally understand your frustrations, a lof of people had the same complaints about this season. The seperation of timelines is super obtuse when you have the same character in both timelines acting identically.

I honestly don't remember what happened in season 3 and when you started this series I had not yet got around to watch season 4, so decided to wait and watch it first time here. But sure. I'm still as confused as you are at this point, so I get why you might have reservations on continuing.
