Grischa is not looking at Eren. He's looking at himself through Eren's memories of the future. That's why he seems like he's freaked out. He's fully aware that he's being watched by Eren from the future, and that he's predestined to do what he's doing. When Grischa sees or hugs Sieg, he's doing it only because Eren allowed him to do so by sending "real-time" memories of that moment to his father. And this was only possible because Sieg took Eren to the memories of their father through the Paths.

When he was talking to the Owl on the wall of the port, he was already checked out and didn't want to continue. From what the Owl was saying ("Mikasa? Armin? Who's memories are those?"), it actually seems like OUR Eren influenced the Owl as well into influencing Grisha. BOTH Erens influenced Grisha.π€―π€―π€― Eren. Top tier Protagonist AND Antagonist LOL.
