Just as a memory refresher, the first time we've seen toxic green blood was in the season one finale "The Erlenmeyer Flask". In this episode, "Colony", the ABH (Alien Bounty Hunter) isn't injecting these guys with anything. He's simply killing them with a stiletto-like weapon which has a spike instead of a blade. If you look at the first guy he kills in the hospital, he stabs him in the back of the neck. The bodies of these guys simply dissolve into green goo on their own and then evaporate. There's no injection going on though. Also Samantha doesn't say that "our father", but is merely referring to her adoptive father, meaning her adoptive parents that she refers to as visitors / aliens. I'm so glad you loved this episode. It was this episode that made me hooked to the show. Even though I enjoyed The X-Files since the pilot episode, it was "Colony" which turned me into a hardcore fan. Many fell in love with it much prior to "Colony", even as early as mid season one, or the season one finale, or the "Duane Barry" arc in season two, but for me and many others it was "Colony". It's definitely a game changer!
