Maybe don't say anything at all? I mean, I see Wolf's questions as rhetorical. Not saying this is response to the above, but I noticed you said something last episode too, so I'm saying it as a general suggestion. Even if it's not spoilery, either saying something will be answered or won't be answered, or there's a reason or not a reason, or reminding him of things - these are still expectation spoilers leading him to expect or not expect something. Maybe letting him struggle with things and remember stuff himself is better.
