If you remember Bobbie's first encounter with the Hybrid on Ganymede, you saw the drone in the background blinking a red light , then there was a white glow on the Hybrid that grew and whited out the screen. Bobbie also rolled over and turned her back to it. That was a fail safe device detonating.

2020-09-30 16:41:46 +0000 UTCThanks for making my Monday evening! It is not a spoiler to say that the crew of the Arbogast over Venus is NOT alive. They had a few moments when the ship blew apart down to its rivets to know that this IS alien technology (as Iturbi thought from the beginning) and that knowledge put the tiniest of smiles on his face!! I love that scene because it is 100% unexpected for every reactor! And also just to be clear, the last scene shows Mei being put into some sort of hibernation so she is still alive. That was a small gift to the fans of the show as after season 2 ended it was almost a year before season 3 started. You only have to wait a few days!! here comes the action packed season 3!!
