FYI based on your reaction I think you missed this bit of dialogue near the end which offers some hope: OLIVIA: How's your wife and son? COLONEL BROYLES: They're gonna be fine. In fact, the doctors are gonna take a look at the serum Wyatt Toomy was synthesizing. It may have some healing potential for Christopher and the other victims. OLIVIA: Well, that's great. Maybe some good could come out of all this.
