Dark Poll Please Help Me Decide?

I would really like to watch it in the dubbed version so its easy for me to grasp the storyline as i'm a visual thinking (someone without an internal narrative) but i know everyone will want to see the original german language with subtitles.. I just want to give the best reaction and create the best content i can for you all.
Guys please i'm struggling what to do here, My understanding of the show may be a little slow if i go with option A and my editing may not be perfect, but I'm gonna put it to you all as a vote! What should i do?

well between patron and youtube i've now had over 250 votes guys and the result was 74% to go with the english dubbed version, so there you have it. ;)

2020-02-16 23:25:28 +0000 UTCI watched it with English audio and had no problems with it. While I can't deny the German actors would be more effective, having to keep an eye on subtitles can subtract from noticing details in the show.

I get that there is a spectrum how people experience inner thoughts and not everybody has an internal narrative. It is at least in debate seeing the viral discussion on twitter at the moment about this. I didn't have problems so far or "suffered" because of it, but everybody has his own experiences. In the case of Dark it doesn't matter for me, because I'm german so the original happens to be in my native language. It is one of the very rare cases. Usually I watch in the original audio (english, japanese, korean... whatever) with english subtitles (because I want to get better in english). So it was kinda strange watching in german for this german tv show.

My english is not the best ;) I get that there might be reasons why watching it in german with english subtitles might be a problem. Just wanted to point out that I would strongly prefer the german with english subtitles like every other reactor watched it and why that is. Of course in the end it is your channel and you should have fun creating the reactions.

I'm not sure the actors voice performances are going to really add or subtract anything for me if i have no clue what they are saying? BTW people who suffer from no internal narrative see things as pictures or feeling not words or an internal monologue so when i read something like a book or subtitles, my brain picks up keywords required to make a sentence make sense and ignores or discards the remainder like nuances. its hard to describe but by the time you process what youve read, whatever happened on screen has already happened and gone.. its wierd. Like if you spill a drink, if you have that inner voice that says 'oh shit' because you spilled the drink, your the 80% ... I see icons and pics that show me what happened as a 'photograph' but that inner voice is not present.. Its why i love my tv and movies because i cant read a book, they make no sense to me as all the details remain, the feelings or ambiance are lost, Look it up sometime its a very strange phenomenon. 😉

Sure reading subtitles can be annoying if you have problems reading while watching but over 90% percent of the world population got used to reading subtitles... so maybe americans can too? 😎😉

2020-02-16 01:36:53 +0000 UTCMost if not all reactors i follow watched it in german with english subtitles or switched to it after the first episode because of backlash from the community or because they didnt like the english audio. The english voice performances are considered to be pretty bad. I find the english version unwatchable, but of course that is just my opinion. If you decide to go with english then I would skip your reaction. I dont see any problem in watching something with the original audio and english subtitles. We do it all the time for example with asian cinema and it gives you a better sense of the performances of the actual actors in the show. I mean Parasite has no english dub and won the oscars this year.
