Shax and Murmur: The Rock and Roll Siblings!

Hey guys! Today's post is all about Shax and Murmur, two characters who first appear in Cryopod Refresh's Ancient Era. 

This brother and sister duo don't have a lot of information in the story about them, so I'll have to keep their biographies short. Simply put, Shax and Murmur are two demons born during the Ancient Era under Lucifer's 2,000 year rule, when Satan was imprisoned in the Cosmic Realm.

Shax is the original King of Rock and Roll. His powers allow him to summon powerful blasts of sound to shred his opponents, blow out their eardrums, and make them headbang uncontrollably. (That last one is a joke. He only wishes he could do that) As a Demon Baron, Shax is quite powerful, and somewhat capable of holding his own even against the ferocious attacks of multiple Valkyries during the War in Heaven.

However, when Shax takes a beating, it's none other than Murmur who has to save the day.

Murmur is a quiet, shy little girl. She hesitates when speaking and has trouble explaining her thoughts. She's usually content to simply ride around on Shax's shoulders, since he's the only person she's ever bonded with and gotten close to. Murmur almost never uses her telekinetic abilities, since she isn't fond of or interested in fighting.

However, if someone ever hurts her older brother, she loses control and unleashes her incredible telekinetic abilities. Murmur turns into a weapon of mass destruction, capable of shredding battlefields by pointing her finger at things, lifting them into the air, and repeatedly smashing them into the ground.

We will get to see more of Shax and Murmur in the future parts of Cryopod,m through one means or another. For now, though, they are little more than background characters in a greater story.

The next character on my itinerary is a rework of Vepar, since I didn't like her original artwork all that much. I'm returning to the drawing board and having MWTX redesign her. Look forward to that!
