Featured in ELLE Magazine - Project Breakdown

Here's a short breakdown of this scene. I didn't really know what to cover as it's such a simple scene and the only way to cover it "completely" would be to recreate it, which I'm not very excited about höhö.

However I'm having a dedicated Marvelous video on my list if that's interesting to some peeps and I have so many fun ideas of things other than boring bed quilts and pillows.

Awesome. Thank you

Thanks for replying Johannes!

Hi, We used to use Dabarti before but since we've been developing a bit more advanced workflow as we're in the middle of building an automated machine that does the scanning for us. Hardware + Software development. In other words, we don't rely on Dabarti Capture anymore. I can't say any more than that but for small scale scanning, Dabarti does an amazing job and it could just as well have been made with it.

There certainly is :-)

There is no sound in the video

Hi Johannes, thanks for this small breakdown! I've been wondering. Just for curiosity, how are you and Martin scanning the textures, for example in the case of this bed? I wonder if it's just good old way you showed once with the woolrich fabric, using dabarti capture, or you guys just go with the presets you've set before? Thanks!!

Sorry I'm so used to almost not photoshopping my images that I didn't even think of covering it. Here's a print screen of the final PSD, it's just a small curve to add some more "photographic" feel to it. If the editors did some changes to it before print in the ELLE magazine though, I have no idea. https://prnt.sc/tkv0gk

Hi johannes, did you made some adjustments on photoshop or everything was from fstorm?
