Indeed it's an automated photogrammetry scanner. It's an arduino controlled scanner using TFT touch screen for menus and input. This video shows a very early version of the software I've been programming for it, however it's a lot more sophisticated now but I'll wait with showing that until it's done. I just have some more parts to print and some wiring and it is done, so should be able to finish it during the weekend.
I'll finish the BMW studio video series first, new video coming up this weekend, and as soon as this automated scanner is done I'll start with the photogrammetry video series. No don't worry, I won't focus on using a machine that no one has, of course I'll focus on photogrammetry with easily accessible gear, but I do think this machine is important in the context.
