"Million dollar views" pt. 2

One thing I want you to take with you from this video, is how the details we often neglect makes a big difference for the image.

The details that are so boring to do, but when you do them you realize how fast it went, so fast there's no reason NOT to do them.

Hi, thank you so much. Very appreciated and I hope it has been useful :) The music is made especially for me by a good friend of mine, Christian "AJBO" Stenlund, so sadly it's nowhere to be downloaded. :-/

Hey, Yes, sorry for the delay. I have recorded half of it but got stuck with syntheyes licensing issues since I had to change computer. I'll get back at it :)

Hi, Thank you for letting me know. Weird thing because the videos on my hard drive look all the same. I guess Vimeo did some weird shit while compressing them. Not sure I have any control over it, but I'll see if I can fix it. Worst case I have to compress the videos myself. :/

Thanks for writing this, actually I never really figured that out. Appreciated. (However it's pretty common that people don't know their IOR values :D )

Thanks a lot Johannes .....your tutorials are always inspiring. As I have mentioned it to you at the D2 ....I have learnt a lot from your videos. Thanks once again..... and please keep doing more of these. One quick question? I really like the background music ...can you please let me know :)

hey johannes cant wait for "welcome to my place" tutorial: "I'll go through the process of tracking the shot using SynthEyes, importing to 3DsMax, implementing and then in 3Ds Max fine tune the camera movement to better fit the scene"

The 1.2 video continutes where the 1.1 left off. The floor and column is all there, you didn't mix up pt 1.2 with pt 2? :)

Love your videos but the jump from 1.1 to 1.2 was pretty big! Missed all the fun floor texturing, the column and hdri/light tweaking.

That timelapse was hot!

Just wanted to comment that when you see a material with 1000 ior in fstorm, it means the vray material had fresnel reflections turned off, which is also incorrect, but I noticed fstorm just interprets that as ior 1000. :)

Hi, Johannes. This video looks perfect, but the 1.1 and 1.2 interface texts and all in general are seen as pixelated, it can be by compression as Nikola said in video 1.1. It would be great if you could upload the two again, thanks!
