The line I've heard most since becoming a dad is to appreciate every moment I have with my baby because time has this cruel way of speeding up while all this wonderful and cute stuff is happening. So, that's what I've been trying to do! Even still, there's no freezing in a moment for long. I see these little changes in my daughter, some last a few weeks, some exist for just a blip. It's difficult to not want to be there to witness every expression, every new experience. I'm also feeling a strong urge to get back into making comics! I've been thinking a lot about Kneesvember this year and I've got a lot of ideas, but I having trouble deciding on something simple enough that won't take 12 hours every day (like Life After Life did). But maybe I should save more on that for another post! For now, here are a few drawings I've made for my daughter who is currently staring at me from her Neglect-O (or Circle Of Neglect, for those who prefer).

I think she was particularly squeaky this week!

Classic turtle face

I don't remember what was cat-like about her this week! Maybe she was meowing? Being soft and nice? Knocking cups off of tables?
And of course, for 4 months I drew a chipmunk because her cheeks are the first thing anyone mentions!
New patreon-exclusive comics coming up soon!
