Iβm 24. I use kids plates for just about everything. I bring my own kids plate to family events. And if someone makes fun of it I point out the very valid point that otherwise food waste is inevitable π€·π»ββοΈ

2024-01-23 23:09:15 +0000 UTCI have autism so I can relate to this but like mentioned I wouldnβt be having others serve me. Itβs his responsibility to worry about his own sensitivity needs. I donβt think sheβs the asshole I know she meant well but it may have made him feel more singled out so I can understand why he was upset. I know when it comes to eating it can just be overwhelming in and of itself to just be at a table with others bc it never fails someone always brings up my pickiness in my family without me bringing it up. It could be something like this for him also but again I do think he was in the wrong for being upset.

2024-01-22 15:42:16 +0000 UTCI feel this mom oh so much, I'm 29 & this is me because my husband's parents were so traditional the house has to be clean and dinner needs to be done by the time he gets off work. & we do holidays at our house and everything is my job, I have now stopped pulling out the fancy stuff and now use those Styrofoam trays that way they also have something to take their leftovers in.
