I grew super fast was 5’7 by the time I was 12, often got mistaken for being older than I was. My family went out to dinner and I was 10 at the time (probably about 5’2), and I tried to order off the kids menu like kids do and the waitress straight up started arguing with my parents that I was too old to order off the kids menu even though it said 12 & under. This waitress literally wanted them to show her my birth certificate to prove that I was 10 years old, they got a manager involved and I was allowed to order off the kids menu. But seriously, she was probably early 20s or late teens, why did she care so much that I was ordering off the kids menu?? Like this wasn’t some fancy restaurant this was an On the Boarder in the 2012. It’s crazy how some of these restaurant staff really get up in arms about things, you have to imagine it drives away customers. Also Morgan, I wanted to say I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing people is always incredibly difficult. I hope you’re able to take time to heal and find comfort in those closest to you. Sending love to you and your family 💕

I've always been a highly sensitive person (hsp) so crying is second nature for me. Crying is the body's natural way to react to feelings that are too much for our brain/nervous system to comprehend so please try not to be ashamed of it (I have been for a long time and still to this day I struggle with being emotional without feeling guilt for it). I'm so sorry for your loss, and so enamored by how strong you're being in the wake of it. Please take time for yourself if you feel you need it; I speak for myself but hopefully all of us that we will still be here when you get back. The loss of a loved one is never easy, so please try to be easy on yourself in this time. And never be ashamed for showing us all you have emotions; we all cry from time to time, or hell even all of the time (Tiktok really tries my emotional capacity on a daily basis).
