March Bonus Stories 3 & 4

These bonus stories have dad and uncle Jimmy joining. These were some interesting conversations and I can't wait to hear what you think about these stories.

First up: What makes a pilot a pilot -- redoing the story we had with Grayson with my dad since he's an actual pilot.

Second up: Dad cut off his daughter and isn't helping with her car payment because she's stripping.

Comments

I hate how the Burger King manager writes about his wife!

Jessica Lang

I think if the dad is so opposed to his daughter stripping that he should help her out with money (if he is able) otherwise dont complain about it

Gabriella

been a fan since the beginning but I just got patreon and started listening to them in order. I just had to that last episode UNCLE JIMMY’S VOICE WAS TRIPPING ME OUT how is he NOT Jerry’s actual brother 🤯

madi

SAME im still in disbelief. I had a hard time telling them apart

Vivian McCarter-Blankson

I’m new on Patreon and getting through all the older stories. I thought it was funny that Morgan said she felt safer with ex-military pilots but I was an Air Force air traffic controller and we always joked that pilots are the dumbest smart people out there! We had such nightmares happen while I was in haha

steph

Agreed!!

Alexandra Minahan

UNCLE JIMMY AND DAD AREN’T BROTHERS IRL?! They sound so similar I very much just assumed Jimmy and Jerry were actual brothers based on their voices.

Getting through all the Patreon stories and as a pilot I love hearing the second take from Jerry! It’s true that what makes a pilot an aviator is all the experience we get while flying. Someone could know all the knowledge but then get into an emergency situation and freeze! We train for any situation and I love to hear a pilots take on the story :-)

Kassy Batt

arkansan lady here 🫣 bless your heart is either a fuck you or an endearing sentiment

UPDATE‼️ Omg Morgan, Newsweek actually picked up this story and interviewed the dude who wrote it - if you ever have a pilot “Robert Fisher”, get off the plane 😅 Also this dude is unhinged and cringey, no clue why he went around Reddit to share that he got “published” in Newsweek for such an embarrassing story 😅

Christy

for that second story, I will say I don’t think he was doing it out of control, but kind of as in his ego was hurt because his coworker saw his daughter/little girl. definitely an asshole for stopping paying her car payment when she’s obviously already in need of money.

Kurstyn

I thought I was listening to two Jerry’s

Mary Evelyn

Mississippian here, bless your heart is fine :) we use it more often in a nice way than not 😂

I feel like ETA in the strip one- the daughter should have been forthcoming about what she did- I'm going to take a guess that the reason she didn't tell him about it was because she KNEW he wouldn't like it. If he cared about her so much, he should have said, "well- how much do you make stripping?", And offered to add that amount to what he already gives her- or help her out by bringing over food or something so that she doesn't have to spend so much on food. If you tell someone you'll help them get on their feet or something and then you see them doing drugs and/or not trying to solve their situation and just want others to, I think it's fair to retract the help because it is almost like the person asking for the help is being manipulative. It seems like that is kind of the lens the dad sees stripping in. He def should have offered her the extra money though or at LEAST said he will stop helping but give her a month or 2 notice

Aja

Love that you decided to rehash the pilot story with an actual pilot!

sokojenn

seriously!! the fact that they are not even actually related is crazyyy bc they same such similar voices

Cinthya Olivas

At least theres that lol 🙌

Also! The stripping story: my best friend growing up's mom had a pole in their living room. She suffered an accident at a young aged and used it for physical therapy!! 10 years later and she still looks amazing

Izzy Agnello

Fun fact: it takes 1500 hours of in experience training to become a commercial passenger pilot

I’m also a wedding photographer and i TOTALLY get the overwhelm and procrastination because it’s a huge project. Also, your exhausted after the wedding and manage so many other parts of your business. My 30 min sessions, i can knock that out within the day or two. Same with my 60 minute. Try culling through the segments of the day (ie. Getting ready, first looks, ceremony, etc.) Another tip is YouTube has plenty of “work with me” channels or shows. Kind of like THT where we’re all just hanging out and giving our takes. But this is where we’re hanging out and working. Lately, i find myself doing OTHER things like cleaning my house instead of editing. At that point, i know i need to leave my house and go to a coffee shop to edit and be productive. Also bc I’d look psycho if i tried to go behind the coffee counter to clean 😂 hope that helps!!

Susan Ly

that’s literally what i was thinking

Emma Glover

Ok hey. This audio sounds better. I think this one is clearer and obviously

Hailey Amick

Wait. You’re telling me that Jerry and Jimmy are not related???? What?!?! That’s insane they sound identical.

Kelsey Burnham

I just went to the comments to say the same thing. I honestly thought I was losing my mind and then Morgan said uncle and everything was right with the world again!

Samantha Hunt

i think it’s counter productive the dad would take more money away as a punishment for stripping when the reason she strips is bc she doesn’t have money?? seems like he’s less concerned abt the money itself and more concerned abt shaming her. why wouldn’t he give her extra money so she doesn’t have to strip?? (assuming he has the financial stability to) overall feels very controlling he’s 100% the AH.

Ella Leonard

Thank you so much for sharing. You add such an important, valuable take on this. I'm happy your dad helped you get out. I completely agree where there should be more of a conversation to budget and help remedy the situation. Dad is entitled to his feelings but then try to help versus maybe make her feel like she has to do it even more to stay afloat.

Two Hot Takes

I can relate to the second story, especially because I was forced to strip when living with a roommate who did. It was awful. It was fun, but very uncomfortable. My parents knew and didn't say much, after a few months my dad helped me get out of that situation because my mom would not let me come home for stupid reasons. But now it's been years since then, and I have a 2yo daughter. I know I won't feel entitled to her body or sexuality when she gets older, but do I want her doing that? No. There's a difference between doing it because you enjoy it and doing something because you feel you have to, and I've been there done that so that's why I wouldn't want her doing it for money. Not to mention there's not a great culture surrounding clubs I've been at and the risks of being sexually assaulted, it happens to even the most careful women. So the dad is an asshole for taking away that money, but it should be a conversation to budget and help remedy that situation. Like my dad did for me, rather than judging me.

Clarissa Thompson

I know I really didn't realize how much they sounded alike until I spent 2.5 weeks living with them both and being confused who was talking to me from across the house lol

Two Hot Takes

I genuinely thought your dad’s audio was like glitching at the beginning until I found out it was your uncle they sound so similar 😭
