Latest File Folder: Hooch Bucket USA 3x4 Channel

Just in time for Christmas

Thanks to Patreon Garrick Hershberger (Featured in above video) who has adapted the 3D Printable Hooch Bucket to the 3x4 US downpipes.

The file is in the "Latest Release" folder and will be moved to the "Community Remixes" Folder after a period of time.

Which slicer do you use. ?

These buckets took about 11 hours and just over 300g of filament each. I used a 0.8mm nozzle with 2 walls and 5% infill.

How long should it take to print? My printer says nearly 3 days is that right?

Any chance for a new remix version of the hooch adapters and hooch buckets that utilize an integrated version of the growspike v3 instead of the mini net style protrusion in the base? It could eliminate the need for hot glue and bridging the grow media between the adapter and pot as well as preventing media loss in channel. The only problem I really see in a growspike variation of the design would be needing the designs to be set to each specific pipe size instead of scaling in slicer because of wick channels/guides changing if scaled in slicer. I'm still early into the 3d printing journey and not CAD savvy enough yet to try editing other peoples designs.

Beautiful, many thanks.

I’ll throw his fusion 360 file in there. So you can play with it.

I was wondering if somebody could take 1" out of the height? In Canada I have access to the 2x3" vinyl downpipes. If not, no worries I will take a look and see if I can figure it out with TinkerCad/Blender or whatever :) I am really looking forward to checking this out! Looks awesome, thanks for sharing
