Tiki Tak Incident Question: Should the Girls after being rescued tag along?
Added 2022-11-09 07:02:35 +0000 UTCThe original plan is to keep them hypno'd and doing something else in the background of the tiki operation after their tiki is defeated, but if you consider them tagging along would be more interesting or fun, let me know. As i can certainly alter the story to have them follow along without corrupting the original storyline.

Just wanted to give my opinion on your take and provide a little insight. I've fallen for the same dilema of giving soro an idea like that, not knowing how much work would be needed to do that. Just remember to factor in the extra work required to go with an idea you suggest him as a general thing

Like I said I don't know anything about sh#$ like this. Whatever decision he makes is fine by me, I just think I prefer having the girls act as moral support. Maybe occasionally helping out if the enemy has an upper hand. I apologize if I was overstepping.

On top of that it's way more work on soro's end just to have more girls per scene that you're gonna be seeing later in the series anyway. Not shaming you or anything but as a friend of Soro I've heard him talk about how the riley chaper alone was very tedious to make because riley alone is 3 characters to draw alone ON TOP of Soro himself and the background details and characters. Now imagine that but with every or almost every character from prior chapters, like that's too much work on soro's end just so you can see characters that we're gonna see again eventually in the series anyway. Also again no disrespect but both options you gave for a proposed "hypnosis immunity" feels too cheesy/kind of a cop out tbh

2022-11-09 07:55:57 +0000 UTCOk ok THIS is the last thought: with the girls tagging along and helping soro free who remains, perhaps the bosses could be expanded too to account for multiple people. For example with lydia, there could be multiple trains soro and bonnie have to fend off. So whilst bonnie deals with the others, soro can continue to focus on freeing lydia! (Sorry about the wall of text, i just genuinely LOVE the idea of them helping soro out in his quest lol)

I know I'm new to this whole thing but I really fell on love with these characters and I really want to see more of them. As to the argument about the hypnosis immunity there are two explanations as the why this can work in a story sense. One is that Soro could manufacture some earplugs out of Bonnie's fur, similarly to what happened in Disney's Home On The Range. The second is that if you focus on the flashback, you'll notice that not all the girls were hypnotized by the same tiki. Each girl has one respective tiki as their puppeteer. It would make sense that after defeating a specific one that they would snap out of it. There is the exception of Glaze, but hey, I'm sure she'll have a part to play at the final boss.

2022-11-09 07:11:04 +0000 UTCit'd honestly be really neat to see em actually help soro out with the rest of the quest rather than just fade into the background. we've seen that a fair amount in other stories, and it'd be nice if there were a change. plus the dynamics and dialogue with the girls along would be sum extra good shtuff! as much as i absolutely love the hypno u do, i also love the characters themselves and their interactions! all my homies love fun character dynamics and regarding the question of the girls' immunity, perhaps soro could have some like earbuds for the girls to protect em from the other tikis' songs? dude's got a robotic tail for fighting pkmns, im sure he'd have smth like that too. just a thought! one last thought: perhaps the interactions with the girls along could help provide more fluff to pad out the story so we don't find ourselves quickly going from boss to boss besides the fight scenes. there could be a good balance of the characters interacting and the fights (and da hypno hehehe)

2022-11-09 07:07:18 +0000 UTCI feel like Soro himself is the titular character of this series. While some support from others would be nice, I don't think he should be bringing them. The point of his immunity to the tiki taks wouldn't carry over to the other girls right? Even after being freed, they are a liability if they go with Soro. Now if someone else, who was hypno immune, (or expendable), were to join and help for one, that would be different. Personally I think just do whatever you think fits, but I like Soro being the hero by himself more than Soro with help
