2024-09-19 12:56:52 +0000 UTCYes, it also surprised me massively when I first watched this that they were able to defeat the dragon in the second episode. Honestly, it was a plot movement that made me even more excited for what was to come- because if the entity that would be the standard big bad in any other show in this genre could be dealt with this swiftly, then what on Earth did the writers have in store for us after? This really is a show that feels like anything could happen at any time, which I appreciate. I can very much feel the dice rolls thrumming in the background of some of these plot beats... you can especiall kinda feel when the player characters must have rolled crit fails or successes based on either how TERRIBLY their plan goes or how insanely well it goes. It's fun, ahah.
