SU ended up being one of my favorites for their attention to detail like that. They do a great job of making a lot of continuity. Especially for a show I really thought wasn't going to have much - I went into this thinking it was like S1 of Adventure Time.

2025-02-04 14:33:48 +0000 UTC9:24:53 Fun fact: if you're paying close attention, you can tell that something is off with "Connie" almost as soon as she exits the costume shop. Connie says she's gonna wear Lisa's childhood cloak, and they just had that exchange about how Steven believes it's red, and so that's the color that the fake Connie wears. But Connie believes it's black ("The sunset's black over the mines"), so that's the color cloak we see her in when we eventually get reunited. 10:38:41 Another fun fact: You see how the spaceship crashing has left a crater in the cliffside? While other cartoons might forget it or handwave it away, Steven U doesn't, and that crater becomes a permanent feature of that cliff for the rest of the series.
