If the obsructions bother you too much, you should still be able to sync a copy and just mute your copy and grab the audio from mine! I hope this still is preferable to just straight up syncing! The older version is generally slower-paced and took two episodes instead of one to tell this part of the story, which I think made it hit harder because it had more time to build up Ed and Al's friendship with Shou and Nina.
