Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge
Added 2023-03-30 07:26:15 +0000 UTCOkay so first i thought people might wanna see me play High on Life even though it looks like an unfunny pile of crap and is made by an alleged sex pest. But despite already being downloaded it needed to update so i'm like screw it, it's probably lame anyway.
So then i thought alright how about that Tunic game? That looks like a fun little zelda style adventure with a cute little fox guy or something. But no. That too demanded i sit and scratch my butt for an hour waiting for it to update.
So I end up just going through my X-Box looking for anything at all that looks like it might not suck and won't have a stupid update to put me through. Finally i ended up on this weird little obscurity from the OG X-Box days. Behold... a plane game!
From what i can tell this is sort of a steampunky alternate future setting with an old timey adventure serial spirit, flyin around in a biplane Snoopy blastin the Red Baron out of the sky. You zoom around some pretty decent looking environments and look for secrets and accept missions where you shoot down bad guys.
Honestly it ain't half bad. But it's also not a game anyone was requesting, or indeed had even heard of, so i didn't spend a whole lot of time on it. Just enough to make some jokes and acknowledge it as fun and cool and not totally worthless, which is far more than i can say for any modern game that doesn't fucking work cause it needs to update.
So High on Life gets an F, Tunic Gets a 0, and Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge for the X-Box gets an actually playable/10, which makes it the winner.
