Star Trek Online - more like Toilet Trek

Crappy controls with a hud that fills 90 percent of the screen with stupid pointless bullshit and a gameplay loop that seems to be 100 percent scouring barren palette swap planets for minerals and loot.
Why is it so hard to make a cool Star Trek game? All they have to do is let me explore and talk to aliens and bang chicks, it's not complicated. But instead we have this failed experience full of lag and missing an actual game.
The only cool part is making your person. It tricks you into thinking it will be a deep and authentic experience with all its different options of who you can play as and in what era. Very Star Trek. But then the game starts and it becomes the opposite of Star Trek in every way because Star Trek is cool and this game is a toilet. It smells bad.
Star Trek Online makes me feel many things. Disappointed, bored, annoyed, angry, upset, sad, pissed off, and spaced the hell out. But one thing it does not make me, is engaged. Beam me the Hell out of here, Scotty.
