True damage Qiyana pants and boots

Required materials:  

Black pants with white outer edging
High black boots
Blue paint
White paint
Foam sponge
Thin brush
White laces

I wondered for a while what kind of fabric I wanted the pants to be made of. I wavered between leather and cotton. I opted for cotton because the design itself looks more street style, considering the other True damage costumes. Basically, I was looking for something with a white side edging, as wide as possible. Something like the first photo above.
Luckily for me, I found a similar one in the Chinese store next door.

I used the same technique as I did for the bustier. Keep in mind the way it is spelled! You might need to mirror the text on the opposite side. For the letters, I used Cadence Matt fabric F-630 SIYAH. Cut the letters from the model, put it on the white part of the pants, and draw on the end. Once you have the basic silhouette, apply the paint with a damp brush, and fill them. When one side is ready, let it dry completely for 24 hours and then do the other. If the paint is not completely dry, you risk staining the white area along with the letters. Once everything is completely dry, turn the pants on the packaging side and iron for 5 minutes to seal the paint.

For the boots, I used thick faux leather boots with heavy heels as a base. I found them in the Chinese store as well. The paints I used to repaint them were: Cadence DIamond metallic paint 680 A.MAVI and Cadence DORA hybrid metallic 7152 INCL PEARL. 

I applied the paint with an old piece of foam, tapping lightly on the shoe. You may use a kitchen sponge too. I repeated the process 6 times until the color saturates enough and completely covers the base black color. This is a time-consuming process but it is really necessary to layer the paint.  Avoid getting them wet after repainting. Change the laces to white/blue ones and voila!
