Another point, I felt like the reason why Nami chose to do everything on her own is because she fears to lose more people dear to her. Also, It does not really show in the live action but in anime, Nami told Luffy and others to leave because she doesn't want her friends to get killed by Arlong.. As in Nami's perspective, Arlong is very strong and scary that no one can never win against, even Luffy. So that's why she was cold with them and doesn't want them to get involved. I want to cry.. Nami needs to be protected at all cost! I love her so much T.T
