Girl, it took me 4 days to watch this one episode. Your feeling is valid. It’s how we all felt. This is what happened when the writers did what they wanted and there’s no book. And honestly, I don’t think he will finish it. It left such a bad taste in everyone’s mouths. It was so disappointing. lol so yeah! And amazing epic series to be resolved like this. And yes, Cersei ‘s death SUCKED! Like wtf, that’s what she gets? Lame.

2025-06-17 04:53:40 +0000 UTCI totally agree it was rushed. But it would be SO great, if they extended it and made her crash out even more valid. Dany as a villain would be awesome and makes sense. It took me a while to calm down. Then I rewatched a while later and saw the idea behind it. Execution was poor

2025-06-17 03:49:22 +0000 UTCBran knows the past and current, not the future. All it is is a person who was HUGELY focused on one goal, ONE goal all her life (that’s intense if you ask me, obsessive) came to Westeros expecting love - received hate and no one wants here here from the people. Came to the one place she had built in her mind only to have it completely different then what she wanted or thought she’d get. It makes sense for a crash. She didn’t say she would do so. She gave them hints and used figures of speech (ironically). ALLLL of the excuses of her action being; oh Jon told, or the dragon died etc… My humble opinion: her anger is justified, her reaction HECK NO. No matter what happened leading up, this isn’t a sane persons reaction and has no logic just a mental crash out

2025-06-17 03:46:04 +0000 UTCThis is what happens when you come to liberate people who in the end, don’t want to be liberated.

2025-06-17 02:35:48 +0000 UTCI don’t blame Dany what for she becomes. Circumstances have pushed her to this point. However, it is not without fault of her own. Her advisors have made grave mistakes that have cost her. But she has made mistakes in Westeros as well. That have alienated her from the people of Westeros. In the convo with Jon. Dany says “I don’t have love here”. And this sums up her in Westeros perfectly. She hasn’t shown the people of Westeros anything but to fear her. Nor has she truly tried to earn the love and respect from the people of Westeros. The same as she did with the Dothraki and the people of mereen. I saw a comment somewhere that summed it up perfectly it was something like “there's is a difference between following out of loyalty and following out of necessity. Dany had this in the beginning and is what made her a great ruler the Dothraki and the people of Maureen wanted her and she became a beloved queen, but when she tried to force herself onto the north and west who didn't know her” This episode is the perfect example of the main flaw with this season in my opinion. Despite popular belief the writing this season is actually pretty good. They just needed one or two more episodes to let things evolve and really flesh out danys decent into madness ( which again despite popular belief was always going to happen). And Cerseis death is the only writing plot line I truly hate from this season. Another thing I kinda thought of after watching this. Is I don’t blame Cersei for taking this fight, because at this point she has been winning the war against Dany. Only lost one battle against her and that was a surprise attack. So realistic especially after killing a dragon. She has no reason to think she will lose. (just a thought) not sure about the wildfire this is the first time I noticed it within the episode not sure if it’s ever talked about after this. A counter point, to Jon telling his family about him. In my opinion was yes stupid if he wasn’t going to press his claim. But Danys reaction to finding out about Jon, is where it comes, if she truly cared about breaking the wheel and stuff and not just about taking the throne. So yes it was dumb of Jon but also danys isn’t right in this situation in my opinion. Also your reaction this episode was so interesting, because the silence almost made this episode more Erie. Which made this episode for me so much better! Great reaction. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on the next episode!!

2025-06-14 02:45:27 +0000 UTCI’m only about an hour in but I’m just like you just shocked at what is happing and I am very disappointed in Dany she heard those bells ring showing surrender but she still went and destroyed the city like If she just went for Cersei that would have been better, still terrible but not as bad as killing hundreds of innocents I really don’t know what to think about her right now

2025-06-14 02:20:57 +0000 UTCbruh this episode, the way they fucked over every character, as someone who spent years watching this show oh my god was this disappointing (thats putting it lightly) also rewatching with you i found something else that pissed me off that i forgot about because what writer made jaime say that he has never care for people innocent or other wise because THATS LITTERALLY THE REASON WHY HE IS CALLED KING SLAYER WTF he killed the mad king BECAUSE he cared about the fucking people innocent or otherwise damn that annoyed the hell out of me. add it to the list i guess lol

2025-06-13 07:32:39 +0000 UTCThis was just... wow. Hard to watch. Rewatch really, I've seen it before. Rushed storytelling aside just...wow. Honestly, the most terrifying battle. Sure, night walkers, wights, things beyond the wall etc are scary, but the most terrifying part is People Vs People. This wasn't a battle. This was just slaughter, with a weapon of mass destruction. That dragon. Cute when little, badass when defending its 'mom' but like..that thing is a weapon!

2025-06-13 02:49:38 +0000 UTCRe-watching this it still makes no sense for Dany to still have burned up "kings landing" after they surrendered. To still take innocent lives was so out of character. Even though I did start to see cracks early on in her character and felt that was very intentional with the writing, always alluding to the mental health of her family line, this decision was not warranted. If anything it should have been that she went directly to the Red Keep and burned it, and it alone brutally killing Cersei and her unborn child, I know cruel, but more plausible considering how hurt Dany was but it still made more sense. If I am not mistaken one argument is that she did not want to leave anything for Jon to rule over should he actually take the throne from her, and though I could see the pettiness in her brewing, the writers did not plant enough seeds(not enough storyline written, they did not take their time) for her character to go this far. Had they done that even if a departure from the books, I could accept it but since the writing was rushed it just didn't land. Also going back to the previous episode, I agree that it was a lot of what she should not do from Varys & Tyrion but not what to do, no strategies, no use of Varys little birds that are all over Westeros to get entail, no strategic plan offered as an alternative to not kill innocent people while overthrowing Cersei, who had little to no claim whatsoever to the throne, so a plan to kill her for treason could have been in play. It just is hard to believe that there was no well thought out solution from the two smartest people in the series(purposely written as such until it suited them more for the plot for them to all of the sudden have no real insight or viable solutions to offer toward the end.) All that written I still believe the series is worth the watch and I am glad that you took the time to react, it has been a fun time re-watching this series.
