This anime is definitely designed for a second or third watch to fully grasp the twist and turns of the plot because there are scenes that really doesn't make sense until you get to a certain point in future episodes, so don't feel bad about not getting it all at once even if it was just explained. AOT can be overwhelming but once all the puzzle pieces fall into place it will just make sense why all that happened had to happen in the first place

The way he wasn't even able to enjoy something he'd been wanting to see all his life. One hell of a season! It might be my fav season as well. B4 moving to the next season, I highly suggest you fully digest what happened here, specially in these last eps. Like you said, the only way to not be this confused is if it wasn't you 1st time watching. And since the comments section is danger zone, a help from mods or maybe a rewatch. If you want/can ofc. Not to say all your questions hv to disappear, bc let's be honest it's impossible with this show😂(that's what used to make conversations w/ other watchers so interesting), plus it wouldn't make sense not to hv them when we still hv one long season to go. Anyway, So excited for youuu🫶

I feel really bad for Eren, everyone was really happy seeing the sea for the first time and It seems like he couldn't really enjoy it as it was because of everything going on. I think this is my favorite season too. But getting all this information in a few episodes was really doing too much for my brain, lol.

I notice that sometimes you have questions abt something that was just explained and watching it back could help you get less lost. It's totally up to you tho, if you think the way you're doing is not interfering in your experience that's fine!

He also helped to provide that outside perspective which was refreshing since he wasn't 100% in agreement with our MCs. It basically gave another layer of believability to the situation overall. I also loved how Floch reflected S1 Jean here, which was why Jean was able to see where he was coming from. Remember when Jean questioned Eren before their 1st expedition? Floch's moment was basically like that moment. They both even said the same thing by the end, that they had a right to decide what they're dying for. For majority of the series, the ocean has always symbolized the path to freedom but now that we're finally here, freedom is still nowhere in sight. The cage only seems to have gotten bigger...

Watching this episode for the nth time made me curious, what might be Eren's reaction when he saw the sea for the first time without knowing the reality of the other civilization and everything? The pure Eren, Armin, and Mikasa who just wanted to see if the sea is real? Sometimes I wanna imagine that Eren got to see the sea for the first time without all those memories of what's outside the walls, like without the burden of saving their race and bringing back freedom. He's been through a lot at this point. 🥺 If that happened, he will probably be just as happy as Armin and Mikasa.

It’s really not hard. I would just shut them off and leave it at that. I feel like you’re going to continue to get spoilers, especially with the new season. It’s sad we can’t have nice things.
