I really wanted to check this movie out for the first time! It's so long tho that I had to split it up into parts hahaha part 2 will probably come next week.
BTW do you guys like this layout? I've had people say they can't see the movie cause it's too small so when I try to make it bigger I have to make myself smaller, but then others can't see me either. It's been hard trying to find a middle ground. Let me know if this works or not.

He is not immune to it, but he is the only one that would be able to carry it. Let me stop before I start rambling! I think that, even though these films came out over 20 years ago, they still are one of the best.

I'm so grateful you were brave enough to do the extended versions lol, you really do get to know the characters and the story so much better. This version throws a lot of info at you, but in some ways it's easier to follow than the theatrical cuts, because these have time to fully explore the story. The shorter run times lose a lot of backstory and explanation. I'm babbling, I just really love these movies😅 -I love how quick you were to understand that the Ring has a mind of its own. I feel like the movie made that really clear, but then I see a lot of people like "why did so-and-so character do this or that?" And I'm like... Did you miss the part where the evil Ring manipulates and twists people to get what it wants?? -The "oop!" when Strider took his hood off😂 "I'm not gon say it"😂😂 -NEDDDDD🤣 Girl, you're so much fun🤣🤣 -You'll learn more about why Boromir (Ned lmao) acts the way he does as the movies go on. Also we meet his father in the 3rd movie and... it explains a lot😬 -Sam is THE ride or die. My guy sets the standard for loyalty. I know it's a lot, but don't worry too much about the names! If it helps reduce your stress, then by all means go for the notebook, but don't feel like you're failing or messing up if you forget something or say something wrong. They are literally speaking different languages!! Very very few people can keep them all straight on the first viewing. I've watched enough kpop videos with you to make me confident you can follow the important parts of the story just fine lol! I'm so excited for this to continue, I hope you enjoy it as much as I am because I'm having a blast😁 P.S. You picked a good time to stop halfway! If you want some suggestions for where to stop on the next movies, popular choices are at the 1 hour 46 minute mark for The Two Towers, and the 2 hour 7 minute mark for Return of the King. I don't know how to describe the scenes without spoiling you, so I'm just doing time stamps lol. Not a rule or requirement or anything, just good times in the story for a break👍

I saw the notif this morning but I couldn't comment bc I was on my way to work but I'm finally home and can relax while watching your reaction. :') I watched the trilogy for the first time 3-ish months ago and let me tell you, I fell in love SO fast. I loved the world building and characters and I always love it when I watch older movies/shows for the first time and they still hold up many years later. 😭 before I watch your reaction, imma just say it here Sam is the best character ever and I loved him so much throughout the trilogy that he's now in my favorite characters of all time list. That was so cute as soon as he came out and you yelled “Ned !” Also, the female elf Arwen is Liv Tyler, Steven Tyler’s daughter of Aerosmith. And her dad, the Elf King is the villain in the Matrix movies (who says “Mr. Anderson”)

Besides Sean Bean who plays Ned, you May also recognize Sam's actor as He was in stranger things (he is Bob), Elrond's was in The Matrix and a bunch of other movies and Gandalf is played by Ian McKellen who was not Dumbledore but actually Magneto from X-men haha The movies are long but They are definitely worth it. It based in books that basically created this whole genre of Fantasy. PS: i really liked the setup and the movie is not small.
