Added 2024-06-03 13:15:00 +0000 UTCSo as many of you know....I posted this on youtube but it was met with some solo stans trying to make it seem like I was saying that Chenle was better than Haechan which was NOT what I was saying. Then they went on to completely trash Chenle. I ended up taking the video down and will no longer be posting recording behind videos on youtube. Moving forward they will be a Patreon exclusive thing. I am so fed up with this behavior. i've already talked about it in another video but this has ruined my enjoyment for Reacting to Kpop a lot. It's one of the main reasons why I took a break from the channel. i can't do it anymore. it's happened way too many times.
I loved this reaction and I was so excited to share my thoughts, but I ended up feeling uncomfortable and anxious. I hope I can trust all of you to post it here. I love NCT so much (ALL OF NCT) and I want to celebrate them and support them. The boys KILLED this song. I loved getting to see each one of them work in the studio and see the process. That's what i want to be the main focus.
if I can't post this even here then what is even the point anymore? lol so I hope that I can trust that this is a safe place. Hope you enjoy this video, and hopefully I can start posting more reactions to these because this is literally what I want to do.

I also look forward to you reaction to behind the scenes recording. I know it's the field you study. I enjoy watching them just like your reactions to the MVs and the Albums. So, I thought about it before why you don't react it often on Youtube. I know you have your reasons. Then I came here on Patreon. I would be lying if I said it never crossed my mind that you might have made that reaction a Patreon exclusive. Since you're packed with a long list of videos to react to plus your studies and private life, I just continue to enjoy your other contents on here. Now that I know now why (it actually never crossed my mind solo stans would attack like that/to you), it reminded me how fans can be THAT toxic. That is why I only watch and interact with fans that are just enjoying being a fan. If not, I would have left kpop long ago but since Kpop (specifically NCT) played a huge part in my life, I can't bring myself to do that. And I know that there are fans that are just genuinely just enjoying being a fan like me.

I love music and follow multiple groups myself. There is soo much good music out there and there will always be more. I must say, i dont really understand or relate to solo stans. I have seen this type of behavior not only in music, but in other areas too. Why people think that for one person to be good, another one needs to be bad. ?? I hope you always have fun doing whatever you decide to do in the future. I personally enjoy watching you enjoy music and these behind the scene recording. It is good to set boundries for yourself, and if one platform does not work for you, then you dont have to justify yourself to anyone. Keep up up the good work and all the best to whatever you tackle in the future.

I am so sorry you had to get comments like that K-pop honestly is just getting toxic for the majority of the fandoms (not all of course but majority) that’s why I am never on twitter and some solo stans can be the worst. I mean in terms of fandoms, other than ones I am familiar with (EXO-L since I am one, ARMY since EXO-L have a bad history with them for one reason or the other, etc). Although I'm also an NCTzen, since I don't really talk to anyone or post online, I only hear about stuff on gossip sites, so it's like "Is this real? Is this really happening?" Like those weird dating rumors that pop up out of nowhere. The one weird dating rumor I wouldn't mind would be ITZY's Ryujin and NCT's Haechan (the rumor was going around because she'd randomly be outside of the SM building, but she was probably actually waiting for her now BFF, aespa's Karina- I'm not a MIDZY, but Ryujin just seems like she could date anyone because she's that chill), but that's neither here nor there for this convo, lol. Anyway, yeah, the more I actually read comments online now (thanks to you), I can see the solo stans out there, making themselves known. Like under the video of NCT Dream picking a 2nd/couple song for "Smoothie". I'm so, so glad I'm not posting on YouTube or anything because MAN, I would need to be banned. Thank you for posting this, Caitlin. Good luck with the house as always, too, and of course, take breaks when you need to.
