Portal_Paw

Okay thank you very much, take as long as you need💗

Portal_Paw

I am. Just haven’t had time lately. I had an update video explaining everything. Do check that out in the pinned weekly schedule. You’ll see more reactions to the show whenever I can. Thanks for your patience.

Caitlin Benson

Are you not reacting to this anymore?

Portal_Paw

re-watching rtk with you is like a hit of nostalgia and so many emotions. every performance is engraved in my mind even after 4 years. i hope we can get more of your reactions soon!

I'm a bit late, but I always cry watching the pentagon performance. They were my ult for a long time, and I remember that people got mad at them after the performance, saying they are going for 'pity points' 😔 Those were real tears!!!! Also, a fun fact is that pentagon is the only group that sings all these performances live! They don't mention this until the final episode, but I feel like it should be known, it is also a big reason that the groups in Kingdom all started go sing live!

I love that you're reacting to RTK! joined just to watch it yet again along with you 🥰 I love that you're already appreciating my babies ONF, and it only gets better from here on out!! thank you!!

This is the first time I’ve ever rewatched that Pentagon performance. I absolutely sobbed the first time I saw it and knew the same thing would happen again so I’ve avoided it. When I tell you I cried so much just now😭😭😭😭Anyways all of these groups are amazing and I’m excited to watch the next line up of performances next episode. Thank you Caitlin❤️😊

Allison✨🌈

this episode was indeed the real rollercoaster...

Now that I think about it - It's very interesting that you're watching RTK /after/ watching Kingdom, because The Boyz's entire run in RTK is what gives a lot of context as to how stunt-filled Kingdom was, which is on the one hand fun to watch because of the spectacle of it all, but on the other when I read and watch the interviews/behind the scenes for these stages it just makes me feel bad :/ (tbz in particular talked about their preparation for Danger being filled with bruised knees, pain etc 😭). The Shine/Spring Snow performance will always have a special place in my heart. Pentagon risked their placement by giving Jinho a tearjerking send-off <3 One of the most memorable stages of the show for sure! Next episode will be packed with fantastic performances!! Can't wait :D

I still can't watch that performance without crying. To make matters worse, his enlistment date was my birthday. But on a much lighter note! The next episode is honestly the best round of performances in a single episode of any survival/competition show I've ever watched. Like it's up there with episode 6 of Peak Time

I'm always taken back to my first time watching it in 2020. I cried. My husband cried (but only just a little, he says). We had to stop the show because I couldn't stop crying and he went out and bought 2 pints of ice cream for us. And we ate that ice cream and looked up Pentagon MVs, variety content and anything and everything I could watch. Because I wanted to know them and love them, too. Probably the best day of 2020 for me, with the exception of their Daisy win and the We L:ve concert.

Lunoki

my boys risked maybe not placing very high to give jinho a proper send-off ... i'll never not cry during this stage, especially jinho's little speech afterwards

Juuls

I knew the dates and didn't even count XD For some reason, I got it stuck in my head that they were a week apart each and not literally a week apart total. I'm so embarrassed. Thanks for correcting me, Juuls.

Lunoki

there’s actually only 8 days in total separating the 3 maknaes! yuto’s bday on jan 23rd, kino’s 4 days later on jan 27th and wooseok’s 4 days later on jan 31st, so yes: 3 maknaes basically haha

Juuls

The way I’ve seen that Pentagon performance multiple times now and not to mention it’s been literal YEARS since it happened and yet I still became a blubbering mess rewatching this with you. 😭

My favorite performance by the boyz and what made me a deobi was Danger 🤩. Pentagon deserves so much better!!! I cry every time I see this performance 😭

Kameron Renae

I just subscribed and you post this, I am so lucky, thank you Caitlin😭

Caitlin, in case you are wondering, the "my song" for the groups you don't know will be: ONF - We Must Love with a little bit of Moscow, Moscow, Golden Child - Wannabe and TOO - Magnolia in case you wanted to prepare ahead of time. You will probably recognize the rest. I did the same thing you're doing where I watch the higher quality performances separate from the show. Jinho trying to look intimidating in "Very Good" cracks me up every time. Yes, he's the oldest. Wooseok is the youngest. Yuto is exactly 7 days older than Kino and Kino is exactly 7 days older than Wooseok, so Universe likes to think we have 3 maknaes - or "mayonnaise" as they joke. Another running joke is how ridiculously tall Wooseok is as the true maknae and Jinho being the eldest and the shortest. It's cute. Another thing I noticed watching this again: I understand they wanted to simplify things, but Hui is not the only composer/producer in Pentagon. For awhile now, their albums have had songs written by several of the members. On Hui's latest mini album, "Song From A Dream" is written by both Wooseok and Hui and that single Kyra mentioned was composed by Kino as well as his solo debut, Pose. Vanner's "Jackpot" is a Hui/Wooseok/Nathan song. I don't know what the future holds for Pentagon, but I am so very proud of my self-producing kings. Thank you for appreciating them.

Lunoki

I’m not kidding when I say I cried for 15 minutes straight after watching pentagon’s performance.. I was sad all night hahah

Jops

Kino from pentagon that you kept pointing out has been all over my tiktok fyp recently!! He also just released a single

Kyra

Pentagon with the gut punch of feels. Jinho enlisted the same day as Hyunsik and Sungjae from BTOB, thus them not being on Kingdom so Cube bringing the enlistment era to these shows.
