I completely and absolutely agree with you. Wanting a sandbox experience doesn't make anyone homophobic. Wanting a more flexible world is a valid point. I personally believe his background is boring and cliche, with a very specific and a one-track-minded goal, leaving very little to the imagination. But, you know. HOw dare you.

You're literally saying that 'I just don't agree with the lifestyle', and by lifestyle you mean 'relationships, marriage and dating'. Disagreeing with gay marriage IS homophobic. If the fact that gay people have relationships with each other goes against your personal beliefs (your words), that is literally homophobia. I don't know what else to tell you.

And no one here is brave enough to talk about the deeper issues. :(

I love the idea of a vegan animal rights activist who is socially awkward but don't think it fits in with 'bad boy' rep. Maybe that could be the next para! And I could totally see Maggie with the Banksy type. :)

I really like the idea of having a hidden treasure to look for. That makes the gameplay alot more interesting 😊

I hope the adoption system in para is better than sims. I'd like to see townies adopting. Maybe happy adoption day could be celebrated in game,like a anniversary pop up alert or something...I think it'd be neat.

It'd be cool of he were a vegan, learning to recook his favourite dishes from Grandma when he was growing up. His jacket is actually real leather,the only non vegan item he owns. He can't part with it,it was his older brothers jacket...he passed away when they were kids/teens.

I think the next para should be a stoner or something,maybe he can share his stash and get these people in the comments to chill.

As a strait person I am picking up some homophobic vibes from the comments as well. If you are in the majority and believe in diversity think about how you can help those who aren't represented often or at all. Remember these first characters will be in everyone's game, these are everyone's Parafolk. I think its important to keep in mind we are creating interesting characters for the town and the community, not just ourselves.

None of my choices won. Would’ve preferred the classy charmer Lucas who is an office working tech savant. Sebastian was my second choice in name and looking for work isn’t a bad idea either. But cooking is the most typical activity of the 4 choices and didn’t want to choose mysterious bad boy because I was afraid that it would have been another bad boy trope but it doesn’t seem like this anymore. Also, I’m glad that stay-at-home dad didn’t win in the poll but please don’t let him become a widowed gay dad or a vegan. Let his sexuality be chosen by players. So here’s my view on poll winners and the life detail I chose: Just moved into town, Sebastian is a rebel looking young man who just graduated culinary school and is looking for a job but he has a bad reputation due to him being an infamous street artist under a certain nickname. In this new town, can he live a successful double life without getting himself into trouble?

All these options are so great! I’m happy to see that everything but the name ended up being the ones I voted for.😅 Normally I love graffiti artist vibes, but in this case I actually think I’d like to see it as more of prominent characteristic for another para since I think too many “special” things about Sebastian could leave none of them in the spotlight, and it already makes sense for him to have prominent details/hobbies that involve cooking and family instead of adding more “big” hobbies, if that makes any sense. Who knows, though, maybe the graffiti thing will get voted and the team will incorporate it really well and I’ll completely change my mind! :D

Sebastian sounds like an interesting character so far. Most of my choices ended up being the least favored but I'll concede that I may have basic tastes lol. I'm happy with this result too though. Love the option to give Sebastian a husband! I'm hoping sexual orientation comes as an option in the parameter. (if there's an attraction system, maybe within those customization settings?) Also the day night cycle is looking good. Interested in seeing more of the outdoorsy settings but I love what was described here

The 1st & 7th options work really well together for our "badboy". Sebastian is a famous undercover graffiti street artist. He has claustrophobia (from hoarder relatives) and prefers the outdoors. I'm thinking he rides a motorcycle to calm down from being inside a small space for too long OR to make a quick get away after spray painting for the THRILL! I really want to see him have a panic attack at work and have to leave his co-workers baffled.

Well, I really appreciate the fact they are giving us an opportunity to name and write up something about characters. It's a bit of fun. Do I agree with everything? I usually don't, so nothing new there. But that is what should add spice to the character, with everyone's differing views... and THAT I love and appreciate. Be honest, how many chose the name Sebastian because of Black Butler? Just curious. Anyways, I have to agree. I was a bit disappointed in the choices. We were given the option graffiti artist to go with the bad boy persona, but he was given cook as a hobby, though we were only given the option that he cooked with his grandma. All that aside, it's just a para we're coming up with, and so I'm not taking it too seriously. I won't die or anything, lol.

Can’t wait to meet Sebastian! I like that there were attributes for him to have for his personality that aren’t bad boyish even though his appearence is a bad boy look. Because even if he does end up with bad boy background story he can still come from an upbringing that seems not very badass like and hold on to that along with his mischiefs ;P I like that the night time is pitch black and not a greyish-black or navy black :) i can only imagine what the moon and stars will look like! Wondering if we will get moon phases? It might just be my screen setting but I feel the peak daytime blue sky it seems a bit too electric blue?
