if (when. lets be real, its a matter of WHEN) you add washing machines, could you make it so actual laundry can be switched on/off? when i play ts4 i love adding in the washing machines for cosmetics but i HATE doing the laundry, its bloody tedious

I'm so excited to have futon beds! I would love to be able to have kids/teens/YA type age groups be able to have sleepovers! As a kid it was my absolute favourite, and now that I'm 23 I still love being able to have sleepovers with my best friend <3

a play pen is definitely something im interested in. but ive never seen an L shaped couch in the sims and its definitely something i feel would build up a living room area. Laundry would be cool, as long as its not too much work. sims 4 tried that and it became a chore, took hours for sims to do laundry and then there would still be piles of stinky clothes all over the house after the laundry was done because of the over flow from the hampers.. if it doesnt get out of hand, im here for laundry

Play Pens and Toys and everything for the kids in general would be cool overall. So would the story/choose your own adventure and make different choices option be nifty too.

Playpen+Toys =For families sounds nice.

Hi Alex! If you should ever add a playpen I'd love to have an option where you not only have a small playpen but you can separate a whole area of a room with a fence and gate (as if you'd open the playpen and use it as a fence). I hated my playpen as a kid and my parents did that so I had more space! ^^

Could we get beds with sheets that we can change and dishes that pile up in the sink and go into the drainer when washed?

I love the idea of furniture that can be folded away such as the futon bed. It creates living space and makes small builds possible.

Yes to all of the above! But a reptile terrarium would be soooo great. I miss the ability to have different reptiles in the Sims, so it would be really cool to had a modular or empty terrarium that you could put stuff in. Even if the animals don't move! Thank you for all of your hard work <3

Window seats can be custom content but Futon beds and L shaped couches need coding. Those two are my choices.

Basing my vote off of what i think i will get the most use out of which is 10000% the L shaped couch.

I'm definitely leaning more towards functional window seats! Also if they had like a little table built in for decorations and what not that would be super cute!!

I hope that the rest of these things are coming too

I'm so excited, this is a pretty ambitious project, to essentially rival the one franchise that has monopolised the genre. I wish you all the luck and I'm really excited. EA appears greedy and unphased by their customers, and for the most part, the developers on the Sims 4 don't seem particularly enthusiastic or big players/fans of the games themselves. It's nice to see a fresh mind trying to carve a new path and bring new ideas to the table. As for the poll itself, I believe that every single item you've listed would be incredibly appreciated if it appears in the game, I imagine couches to work similarly to the updated stair system in the Sims 4. The tp side is a great little touch, and when I create slobs I'm definitely making that roll face inwards instead of outwards lol.

Maybe the L-shaped couches could kinda work like the new sims stairs? Drag them to be wider and add a bending point wherever you want?

I selected washing machine. I just love real life simulation. I would hope Alex is giving us hints and is actually making ALL of these wonderful, but hard choices. I can only dream, my next choice would be playpen/toys. I love little virtual kids.

The vid was awesome! I didn’t know I wanted to choose which side of the toilet paper I wanted until now! Also I think the playpen & toys idea is really neat and makes me excited at the prospect of playing with families, even though it was so hard to choose from all these options haha!
