I love that the lots can go right next to each other. How close to the edge of the lot will we be able to build? I've always wanted to build row houses or brown stones but I could only do that on one big lot in the Sims. =^..^=

I agree with cozy, super customizable neighborhoods! That’s my MAIN goal. Just creating a cohesive, Uber playable world.

i hope youncan build houses that are reeeeeeally close with each other and give a vibe of a cozy neighborhood, not like how in the sims 4 you can't place objects right at the edge of the limits (and not to mention how far away all houses are from your house)

So here you go: (at the beginning I want to apologize for my english) Para who watched too much tv would get TV addiction and feel that they have to watch TV. If they wouldn't they would improve they skills slower or smth. The same with computer, woohoo ect. And thank you so much for all time you spent and you'll spend making this game. You deserve more than 5$ for me but I'm too poor :/ If I could I'd give you all I have :)

Will it be possible to move a building around the lot? It would be a shame if in the middle of building your dream house you have to rebuild it again cause it doesn't fit in the desired place.

It would be great if we could build right to the edge of the lot, so create more connected buildings like in England etc. Or potentially even apartments and flats within the same lot.

IKR! EA only cares about money. They never bothered to fix The Sims 3, which is my favorite in that series, and went straight for The Sims 4 which lacks open world and even a simple color wheel and say that it’s for “better performance”. Also, they charge 40$ for expansions which have barely anything in it unlike 1,2,3 expansions which were actually gamechanging. Meanwhile Alex will bring us open world, color wheel, pets and seasons in the base game and new features EA has never bother doing.

Difference between alex and ea: we ask ea for specific features and they are still not able to do them. Alex gives us amazing features that we haven‘t even asked for because we have a limited perspective on what might be possible due to ea that constantly tells us that everything is unpossible to include in a game (:

I want to say that as real estate is one of subjects that interests me (particularly given that as a history buff, most of the history are very much intimately tied to the land themselves), I applaud your decision to allow us to define real estate in a way that we could not have in that shall-not-be-named game. ;) What would be interesting, though, in the long run, depending on how big the world will be, is how the division of lands all over the world evolves. If there will be farms at the edge of the town, I bet that as population grows, some of the farmlands may end up being sold for subdivisions or something. I assume that only you as the player can define lot boundaries, though, so that might not actually happen unless you do make it happen. One other thing... by defining lots, it may make alleys possible. And I LOVE alleys for the urban areas.

Wow! Kinda reminds me of Cities Skylines where you can purchase more land for your city. Something *cough* *cough* EA never did for Simcity 2013 which was one of the biggest reasons why that game was a big failure which caused Maxis Emeryville to shut down and why we won't ever have another Simcity or Spore 2.

This is freaking amazing. This is going to allow for the creation of realistic looking neighborhoods where people share a fence! I can only imagine how awesome it would be to play a family and get to see your neighbors enjoying a BBQ in their backyard or kids swimming in the pool! Maybe I am getting a bit ahead of myself but this is really something I would like to see. It would add so much realism. Awesome work Alex!
