Exclusive Content Poll: Gift System

I am thinking of implementing a gift system to the game. How it works is that you can give girls in the game gifts, each of different rarities, and they unlock special scenes and content for the girl you decide to gift. However, I'm having a hard time thinking of how you guys would like to earn those gifts.
First Choice: You play mini-games in the arcade to earn tokens to purchase the gifts. This will be a bit grindy, so I want to know whether people want it.
Second Choice: The gifts are given in some other way, like finding them across the map. This will lead to less special scenes though, since there's only a certain number of gifts I can add to the game then.

I choose the option with more special scenes. I like the idea of not only more content but better content. Plus, it is a game!
