Yes! The Color Purple. Good movie. Emotional for sure

2022-02-01 01:11:39 +0000 UTCThat’s assuming he meant Malcolm X, which is a good historical epic, even if Lee seems to be promoting X as a hero, which doesn’t quite live up to the ideals of Black History Month. Color Purple has good Spielberg stylings, but the book laid on the feminist-martyr spin pretty thick.
