2023-05-21 20:14:34 +0000 UTCI can clarify your doubts on Thousands Leagues Astrologer! She is part of the Black Scripture, the unit of heroes from the Theocracy. Everyone in this unit is between level 30-50. They also have access to Legendary gear from past players of Yggdrasil (6 Great Gods). That makes them much stronger in most cases than regular Adamantite adventurers. Only the 2 God-kins mentionned have a direct bloodline to past players, which allows their level cap to be much higher than the other New World residents. That's why, despite their looks, their gear is actually strong (just like the Pleaides maids, their uniform doesn't look fit for combat, but is harder than Gagaran's full plate). Yggdrasil always puts style over function for their weapons and armor/outfits. So Thousand Leagues Astrologer wearing a school uniform when she is, in fact, the 7th seat and a divination/intelligence support specialist is fitting! =P

2023-05-21 18:02:54 +0000 UTCI feel the first season was made by adapting 3 volumes of the light novels and they didn't expect it to take off. The movies and other merch did take off, but they didn't change their release any...still adapting 3 novels worth of story in 12 to 13 episodes. If you want all of it the light novels are available on amazon, or the audio books up to novel 8 are on audible. Also, I think you will enjoy that this series was written by a man that got bored after his D&D group could no longer meet to play the game.

2023-05-20 19:54:55 +0000 UTCClementine was a member of the Black Scripture. Which is the Slane Theocracy's secret assassination group. They are deployed against major threats to the Theocracy. Due to being raised all her life to kill people Clementine went a bit nuts and defected from the Theocracy. Stole the crown as she went and then hoped the ritual in E-Rantel in season 1 would be a big enough distraction for her to disappear. As the anime didn't mention or show it but the Theocracy had agents after her.
