Your excitement for Lee here is palpable. Even after all these years, it made re-watching it exciting for me too. Because of your animated enthusiasm, it made this a real roller coaster with the ups and downs lol. This is still to this day one of the best fights in the whole series, The animation of Shippuden gets kinda... bad for a while, and never quite recovers to what it used to be here. These are some of the finest fights in anime. I used to reenact all these fights in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. It was called Clash of Ninja for the Gamecube, but it only went up to 2, so I got a Japanese Gamecube and learned how to navigate the game's menus despite not knowing Japanese. I'd do Lee vs Gaara multiple times, one fight for each time the tide would turn, each time playing as whoever was winning that tide, and I'd make sure to end the fight appropriately too. Such a good game. Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special for the Wii was my ultimate favorite. Getting to play as Itachi as well... Anyway, loved this reaction. Lee's got a weird hair cut and oddly round eyes, but he's one of the coolest characters, and I loved playing as him in that game too. I already know how the next reactions are probably gonna go lol.
