Hi, you could rotate it or go to remapping and it has an invert checkbox. Unless you use a very old C4d version you should have the same options as I do. Let me know if that works!

Hi, with the random spline enabled in noise mode, the cloth animation is not triggered, if I change to another mode it does happen. Does anyone have this issue?

Great, thanks, i just though that i can use the perpetual license on my other PC and maybe speed up renders on some projects. Generally smart move from maxon, giving the best and latest version to subscribers. I guess the annual version comes cheapest, maxon + redshift

Hey bud, thanks a lot! Cloth started s26 and its full potential shows in latest 2023. So i would say dont buy any perpetual version does not worth it. But do monthly subscription to 2023 :) and yes it has a lot more things to asset browser

Hi Thanos, thank you for the lessons, i learned a lot in these past few months, i am currently working on Cinema 4D R21 which does not have this cloth options, would you recommend buying R25 (does it have the same cloth tools as in version 2023?) or just go with the montly subscription to get version 2023? Does Cinema 4D version 2023 have some benefits like extended 3D models library that is not available in R25?

Figured it out after some trial and error, if the Geometry Axis Capsule isn't present, the whole rig cant be crossing the origin and it breaks the spline mask / extrude. Just another C4D gotcha ;)

Heya, no if i remember correctly the only bugs i encountered are with remesh and viewport refresh. Same as with extrude caps + viewport refresh. Be sure ur extrude is set to proper direction and it should be ok.

I'll try your solution! I had another animator test it out and it worked for him and I realized you're using C4d 2023 and I'm using R26... I didn't even realize there's a difference. So I downloaded C4D 2023 and going to try that next. Thanks for the reply. :-)

thanks bud. Mmm i think its a viewport bug if nothing works on VM all of a sudden. First thing first u should apply the procedural vertex map. There are 2 maps now. U need the new one. If u ensure about it then its all about restarting c4d, test a new scene etc. It happened to me as well at some point.

Hi Thanos, this is an excellent tutorial! Everything works fine for me up to the point you add the Vertex Map tag. I have the latest version of Cinema 4D but for some reason the tag won't apply to the Connect Object. I even applied the tag to an editable cube in a separate project, copied it into this project, and dragged the tag onto the Connect Object and it just doesn't work. No red highlight or anything. I watched through that section several times and can't figure out why it won't apply. Any ideas?

Hey, very late to the party ! Your approach is incredible. Learn a lot. Please, if you can, make a tutorial on how to shade and light this scene based on the case study. I tried several times, and there is no way I could get the same esthetics results.

this was an amazing video! learned soooo much! One issue i had with the mospline is that if u try to blend between spline shapes the cloner unfortunately can't do it. I've sent maxon a support ticket because i thought this should work

My crashes were due to the random effector's noise parameter not turned down to 0%. C4D would freeze and crash. In case anyone else has the same issue!

I encountered this - try adjusting the spacing in your cloner object.

Others mention the same. There must be some user error in the orientation of the cloth as here there is no problem. Please download project files

Mm no idea. This remesh is a bit finicky. But i didnt have issues with extrusion. Maybe try to change from extrude "auto" to whatever axis u are pointing.
