thanks buddy. Maybe something with ur browser? Are u using a vpn? it should not be any different than watching vimeo. Sorry to hear that, let me know if by changing browser fixes this.

First of all congratulations for your work and your tutorials. I love how you explain things. Now comes the "but", I have a lot of problems to watch the videos continuously. I have a very powerful internet connection and I see other content perfectly, but when I enter your Patreon the drama begins.

BorjaAlami

Hi Thanos,

BorjaAlami

hey buddy! thanks a lot. Nope. Sb are unique objects/deformable :)

Thanos Kagkalos

Hey Thanos! I've only ust signed up to your patreon and have already learnt so much, thank you! I have a question. Once you've baked the mograph cache tag in this example you can switch out the low and high poly bananas. I tried this with a cloner and soft body dynamics but it doesn't respond, it's different geometry so would act differently so wasn't too surprised. Is there a way of applying the same (ish) principle to soft body sims, switching out low poly to high poly? Cheers!

Lucy Bradbury

today I learned...

Mark Creaghan

thanks breaux, really well explained. Keep pushing!

Mark Creaghan

Genial!

L&B Motion Design

ohhh nicee! yea i saw the works, they were also playing on a building in Shibuya.

Thanos Kagkalos

Yeah, Kook used it as part of the promo. I was one of the 10 finalists in the contest, got my work on the screen for a little bit. Would have loved to have seen it in person and gone to the event that year. Did you get a chance to see any of them on the screen when you were there?

rory Mckenzie

Thank u mate! Btw it wasnt part of the contest. Maybe Kook (the organizer) used it for promo? In any case glad u found it useful!

Thanos Kagkalos

Really enjoyed that! Being wondering how you did it, since i saw it on the Motion plus design contest page. So dope!

rory Mckenzie

Thanks a lot buddy! Thanks to all of the people in here and ur kind comments i keep this Patreon alive. Its been very hard to keep this up along with day to day work. I have now more work than ever and im from home and is really tough. Cant even do test renders. I ll try squeeze new fruitless breakdown asap.

Thanos Kagkalos

I just want to say thank you for such a well explained video. You go over every little detail and don't skip anything. You wouldn't realise how many people do tutorial videos on simulations and octane etc and they skip so much or dont explain why they pressed that etc Definitely signing up to your motiondesignschool simulation class! thanks

Aymerc

question: with the expanding torus field which applies colour and then the decay forces the colour data to remain... if I wanted the scale to return to the original value but keep the new colour, would it be possible to do this with only one torus field or would I need two, one for colour, one for scale?

Dark Arps

brilliant as ever Thanos

Dark Arps

Bad jokes are bad jokes haha

Thanos Kagkalos

Thanos Kagkalos

Thanos Kagkalos
