Commission Info!

This is a handy reference post for anyone interested in commissioning a reaction. I thought it'd be good to have around because starting next month, I will have a slot open in my schedule for one movie/short series commission per month. 

General Commission Info:

• Please send requests through Patreon's private messaging. If I don't respond in a few days, poke me on Tumblr or Discord and I'll come running.

• Queer interest only. There must be some degree of canonical or shippable queerness present. The 'shippable' part is a bit subjective, but I'll take your word on good faith. (Queer characters without a romantic arc are definitely acceptable, as are queer coded characters.)

• Video games are also eligible! Just please be mindful of the game's length when it comes to time requirements. I should be able to acquire it through other means, but if that's not possible then the cost of the game will be added to the commission.

• If I've seen the movie/series before, a rewatch video is entirely possible.

• I only take commissions for things I'm reasonably sure I will enjoy, and will be honest with you should I decide to pass on the offer. I can't in good conscience accept a commission when I know the odds of me liking it are slim. Doesn't feel right.

• That being said, commissions do not buy positive reactions. You'll get my genuine thoughts, whatever they may be. You may not ask for a refund on the basis that I didn't enjoy it, or didn't enjoy it the way you wanted me to.

• The first half of the commission is due up front, the second half is due after the reaction has been posted. If you do not receive the reaction for whatever reason (I need to cancel, the footage is lost, etc), you will receive a full refund.

• If there's suddenly a problem and you can't fulfill the second half of the commission, you have to let me know what's happening. I'll understand and work with you, no judgment. If there is a neglect to pay the second half of the commission and no contact is made, or you withhold the second half without valid reason, you will be blacklisted from any further commissions.

Movie/Short Series Commissions: 

• There is one commission slot available per month.

• Should multiple commissions be offered in a single month, I'll choose which one to take.

• On the 1st of every month, a post will go up announcing that the slot is open. When a commission is chosen, a follow up post will be made saying the slot has been filled. (If you send in a request and I have to pass, I will let you know why.)

• The commission is $50 for a movie/short series reaction (if paying through Ko-fi/Paypal I ask for an additional 10% to cover Paypal's cut, but it is not mandatory).

• For the purposes of these commissions, I define 'short series' as a show that can be completed in under 3 hours total, or 3 hours per season.

Long Series Commissions:

**Due to scheduling constraints, it's rare that I accept a series commission. But it is possible, and you should always shoot your shot.** 

• If I accept the request, I put your name on the shortlist for consideration when a gap in my schedule comes along. Being put on the list is not a guarantee that the commission will happen, or at the very least won't happen right away.

• The maximum total runtime per commission is 18 hours. If the series is longer, it will be broken up into separate commissions. There is no guarantee that I can or will accept a follow up commission to continue/complete the series--it highly depends on several factors.

• Prices vary depending on length, please contact me to discuss.

This is the first time I've had any kind of formally open commissions. There may be some growing pains or changes to the conditions over time. Thank you for your patience, and suggestions are always welcome. <3
