Chapter 3 Delayed - Patreon will be Paused
Added 2021-06-22 05:08:30 +0000 UTCAs mentioned before. One of our artists is moving and another is getting surgery. We tried for a chapter anyway but we can see we're going to fall behind schedule very quickly.
As a result the Patreon will be paused and we will aim for a 14th of August release instead.
My sincere apologies.
I know a number of people want me to keep the Patreon open, but I feel like that wouldn't be fair on the people who pay but don't keep as close an eye on the project.
That said, somewhere in July I'll post a text draft of the redo of chapter 1. I hope that you'll read through it and give feedback so that I can test what I've learnt before I know if its worth adapting.
My plan is to do a second edition of the IP video to give stronger arguments to the biggest criticisms as well as have a much stronger initial chapter in both art and story pacing to go along with it.
I might also change the start of the video to not include mentions of the thumbnail so that I have the flexibility to experiment with it.

I'm thinking more an more about this lately. Especially if the Youtube algorithm is going to be shitty. I hadn't actually thought about Ko-Fi though. It'd be weird to make another patreon I think.

2021-06-22 14:49:10 +0000 UTCRegarding the pausing of this Patreon: would you then please open up one time payment avenues at that those who DO want to pay you still can do so? I think most people would be okay with going through Ko-Fi or PayPal, but I personally would also love it if you opened up some crypto wallets (BAT comes to mind) and accounts aren't any more difficult to set up than a bank account usually.
